In our case, I at least know the Media files are in my Exercise Files folder so I'll choose that and I'll click on Search. So bottom line, choose the level that you know for sure your media files are in. So while choosing an entire drive is more all-inclusive it can take longer than if you choose the exact folder where it resides. But if you can't narrow it down that much you can also click on a parent folder or an entire drive. For example, if you know it's in a certain folder you can click on that folder. When you choose the location to search you can select an option at any level. I'm simply going to say that I want to locate the Media and now I just need to navigate to the place where my Media is located. Okay, so I've launched my Chocolate Project and I notice that it gives me this screen telling me that I have offline Media.

I'm going to leave this Project and enter a different Project that does have offline Media so that I can show you how to perform a re-link. Now, if for some reason, you download the Exercise Files and any are offline, which can happen if you move things around, you'll just need to perform a simple re-link.

So for each movie you'll be working with the materials in these bins as well as your assets up here. Here are all the materials you'll need for this movie. So if you're in the fifth movie in Chapter 4 you just twirl this down and go into 4.5. To follow along, you just need to go to the bin that matches the Chapter that you're working in. For this course you'll only have Exercise Files for Chapters 4 and 5. Inside of your Project is a General Assets folder here at the top. To open one of the Projects for this course you just go to Open Project and then navigate to the Projects folder within the Exercise Files.
If you've used it before then you'll have some Projects listed here under Recent Projects.

If you haven't worked in Premiere Pro before, this screen will be relatively blank. When you do that you'll come to a Welcome screen. Just so you know, one way that you can work within the Project in this course is by simply double-clicking on the Project file. Instead, just work with the project and follow along with the instructions contained within the training when I tell you exactly where to go to access certain resources. And if you move or change anything in here then your connection can break.
That's because the Project File in this other folder, link to this Media. While technically you can go in here and start looking around, my advice would be to leave everything alone. The Media is broken down by type of Material. One is called Chocolate Media, another called Chocolate Project and a third called Additional Materials. Unzip the file and you'll see a folder labeled Exercise Files. Once you've downloaded the appropriate Exercise Files, you'll see that they've been compressed to a.
